Description
The Old Hall is a house built in 1693, with some alterations. It is constructed from sandstone and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and features three bays, with a one-bay wing added to the north. The centre bay of the three-bay section is set forward. There is a moulded string course at the first floor level, along with matching drip moulds above the first floor and attic window heads. The windows are mullioned, and there is a studded entrance door. The gables have corbels and copings, and there are brick stacks with a double reeded feature on all faces. Inside, the hall has ovolo moulded beams, a Jacobean style staircase with flat shaped balusters, and 17th century doors with eight panels.
