Description

Hunter's Close is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, rendered infill, and features a thatched roof. The building stands two storeys high. The entrance front consists of 14 x 2 cells of small framing, with angle braces positioned at the fifth and tenth uprights from the left. There is a 20th-century door located to the right of the centre, accompanied by a single 2-light window on the ground floor to the right, and a two-light and a three-light casement window to the left. The attic includes two 2-light dormer casements with swept gables. There are 19th and 20th-century additions at the rear. Inside, the ground floor rooms feature chamfered ceiling beams and an ingle-nook fireplace.
