Description

The Green is a house dating to the late 17th century, with additions and alterations from the 18th century. It is constructed of rendered brick and timber framing with brick infill, and has a slate roof. The house is two storeys high. The front facing the road has two bays. A 19th-century door with four panels and a gabled hood is positioned centrally. To the left of the door is an 18th-century leaded three-light casement window, and to the right, a similar window dating from the 19th or 20th century. On the first floor, there is a leaded two-light casement window to the right and an 19th-century two-light casement to the left. A lean-to porch entrance is situated to the right, and a 19th-century extension sits to the left, featuring a 20th-century window on the ground floor and a square pitch-hole on the first floor with ashlar hinge dressings, now fitted with 20th-century glazing.
