Description
This cottage, located immediately southwest of Cobweb Cottage, likely dates from the mid-17th century. It features oak small framing that has been partly rebuilt in painted brick, topped with a cement-slate roof. The building is one storey plus an attic and consists of two very small cells. There is a boarded door situated under a lean-to open porch supported by brackets. The lower storey has two cast iron 2-light lattice casements, while a lattice casement is found in a flat-roofed dormer, and a wooden casement is located in the end gable of the bedroom. Additionally, there is a small one-storey brick lean-to against the right gable. The interior has not been inspected.
