Description
Foxcovert Farmhouse is a farmhouse, likely built in the late 17th century and refurbished in 1818. It features Flemish bond brown brick with some pale headers and has grey slate roofs. The building is two storeys high with three windows, plus a flush lower wing on the left that has two storeys and one window. There is a gabled open porch supported by brackets. A single-storey brick lean-to is attached to the right gable end. The entrance has a boarded door, and the early 19th-century windows are three-light small-pane casements. The lower storey windows have gauged brick heads. Above the porch is a datestone marked AD1818. The interior has not been fully inspected but includes some chamfered oak beams.
