Description

The sundial, located southwest of the Church of St Lawrence, is likely from the 17th century. It is made of red sandstone and features an octagonal chamfered pillar set on an octagonal base. The structure is very worn, and there are remains of a brass sundial cemented into the top. One side of the sundial has a plaque commemorating churchwardens John Cheers and Dick Kinsey, dated 1978.
