Description
Wervin Old Hall is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century to the 18th century and has been altered and added to over time. The building is pebbledashed with a slate roof, a rendered plinth, and pebbledashed stacks. It is two storeys tall, with a 2½ storey cross wing and features a lobby entrance. The main wing has three windows, while the cross wing has one. On the ground floor of the main wing, there are two timber casements with two and three lights, as well as one canted bay window. The first floor includes one three-light casement and two sash windows with glazing bars. A projecting pebbledashed porch with a tiled roof leads to a stud door (which has been replaced) featuring an arched head. The cross wing also has a canted bay window and first floor and attic sash windows with glazing bars. The stacks are positioned at an angle between the cross wing and the main wing, with one projecting at the right gable. Inside, the beams have stop chamfers and bead mouldings, and the inglenook bressumer features multiple mouldings and a continuous band of pierced circles.
