Description
Black and White Cottages is a row of three cottages, likely built in the late 17th century, with some alterations. The cottages feature brick-nogged small-framing made of small-section timbers. They have a gabled thatched roof with three eyebrow dormers and are one storey high with attic bedrooms. Each cottage contains two rooms. The windows are small-pane casements, and the doors are boarded, dating from the late 19th century. There are four brick chimneys on the ridge, and some parts of the timber frame have been replaced with brick. The interiors have not been inspected.
