Description
Townhouse Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with a later addition from the 17th century. It features timber framing with brick and plastered nogging set on a stone base, while the addition is made of washed, tooled sandstone blocks. The roof is covered with Welsh slate and there are three brick chimneys. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of one and two storeys with a four-bay front. The left end bay is lower and constructed of stone, featuring a two-light wooden casement window. The rest of the façade has twelve by three regular small frames with angle braces, three-light wooden casements below, and two-light horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars above. In the center, there is a 20th-century board door with a gabled hood. The left end gable is stone coped on kneelers and has three-light chamfered stone mullioned windows. There are brick extensions at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
