Clotton Hall is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers and features sandstone dressings. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has two gable brick chimneys. The building has a single-pile plan and is three stories tall with a symmetrical three-bay front. It has a stone plinth and a simple moulded cornice. The windows are flush 12-pane sashes, with 9-pane casements in the top storey, all featuring flat wedged stone heads and stone sills. The central bay includes a doorcase with fluted pilasters and a triangular pediment, with a recessed door that has four glazed panels. The interior has not been inspected.
