Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, which has been altered. It is constructed of brick-nogged oak small framing and features a tiled roof. The building has one and a half storeys plus a cellar and includes two windows. There are small boarded loading doors leading to the cellar. The windows are 9-pane replaced casements of 19th-century vernacular style, with those in the bedrooms located in dormers that have sprocket roofs. A brick chimney is situated on the ridge. Originally, the farmhouse had a lobby-entrance plan with inglenooks, but the front doorway has been blocked, and a small 4-pane casement has been inserted. The interior was not inspected, and the dwelling was unoccupied during the inspection in July 1984.
