Description

The Game Pantry, built in the 1870s, is located 10 metres east of the Stable Yard in Eaton Park Gardens. This single-storey, rectangular building resembles a chapel and is constructed from buff and red sandstone, topped with a roof of red shaped tiles. It features a short lead-capped spire with a louvred ventilator at the center of the ridge. The north side has a plain gable, while the south side displays a stone-coped gable with shaped kneelers and a crocketted finial. At the south end, there is a replaced framed boarded door. The west side has wrought iron screens consisting of two sets of eight rectangular panels featuring spiral scrollwork, and the east side has eight panels out of a total of fourteen.
