Description
The Dairy/Game Larder, located 10 metres northeast of the Down Hall Service Wing, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of gault brick and features a pyramidal scalloped slate roof, topped with a square roof ventilator that has its own slate pyramid roof. The building is surrounded by an open arcade supported by painted timber posts on all sides, and it includes double-hung sash windows with small panes. The floor of the arcade is made of coloured tiles.
