SJ 46 NW CHESTER CITY (EM) PARKGATE ROAD (East side) 1932-1/2/188 Milepost 80 metres north of 23.7.1998 junction with Abbot's Park II

c1900. Cast-iron. Plinthed tapered octagonal post bearing shaped cast-iron plate inscribed in raised capitals "CHESTER CROSS: 1 MILE". Similar post were erected by Chester City Council on other main access roads to Chester.
