Description
The stable building at Corbrook Court is a structure from the 17th century with early 19th-century additions and alterations. It features a timber frame with brick infill and random bond brickwork, topped with a slate roof. The courtyard front, dating from the early 19th century, includes a central double doorway with a basket arch, ashlar hinge dressings, brick voussoirs, and a chamfered keystone. To the left of this doorway is a lower archway that has been bricked up, with a doorway to the right that has six raised and fielded panels, and a two-light casement window to the left with an ashlar sill. To the right, there is a stable door with an overlight and a cambered head, and at the extreme right, there is a single higher window.
On the rear side, there are nine cells of uneven small framing supported by a deep plinth, featuring a tension brace on the right and two passing tension braces on the fourth upright from the left. To the left, there is a stable doorway with a cambered head. An early 19th-century addition is located at the far right, and another early 19th-century addition is at the far left.
