Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red Flemish bond brick with black headers and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall.
On the entrance front, which originally had a symmetrical layout with three bays, there is a projecting porch added in the late 19th century. This porch has double doors and a rectangular overlight with a wedge lintel. Flanking the porch are sash windows with stone sills and wedge lintels. To the left of the porch is a sash window with 4 x 4 panes, while to the right is a 19th-century tripartite window with a lengthy sill and wedge lintel.
On the first floor, there are three windows, each with 4 x 4 sash panes, resting on an ashlar band and all featuring wedge lintels. The second floor has three windows with 4 x 3 sash panes, complete with stone sills and stone wedge lintels. Above, there is a stone cornice that supports a shallow stone parapet. The roof is hipped, and there are chimney stacks on either side of the building. The rear of the farmhouse has extensive 19th-century additions.
