The mounting block located to the right of numbers 26 to 30 on Welsh Row is likely from the 17th or 18th century. It consists of a simple design with four steps, all cut from a single block of stone. This mounting block, along with the nearby properties including numbers 8, 10, 10A, 12A, 12 to 18, and the Three Pigeons Public House, forms a cohesive group of historical significance.
