Description

Jenny's Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1713, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared buff sandstone rubble and features a Kerridge stone-slate roof with two stone chimneys. The building has a T-shaped plan and is two stories high with a three-bay front. The left end and central bay have three-light wooden casements that are topped with plain stone lintels and sills. Above these, in gabled half dormers, are similar casements with heavy roof timbers visible and a projecting rubble course above the windows. A similar course is present at the first floor. The right end bay contains a five-board door under a plain lintel, with a date plaque reading JMJ 1713 positioned above it. At the rear, there is a contemporary stone extension, and to the left, a brick addition.
