Description
Shoresclough Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared, buff sandstone rubble and features a Kerridge stone-slate roof with two stone chimneys. The building consists of two parallel ranges and is two stories high. The south front has two bays and displays two barge-boarded gables above broadened three-light windows, with the lower windows retaining two stone mullions. There is a door in the rear range that is set under a plain stone lintel. Inside, a chamfered ceiling beam is visible through the door.
