Description

A pair of cottages, dating from around 1870, forming part of the Peckforton Estate. The cottages are constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. They are two storeys high. The eastern cottage has a gabled front and one bay, while the western cottage has a gabled front and two bays. Each cottage has a boarded door set within a Tudor-arched opening, with cover fillets creating vertical panels and false strap hinges adding to the appearance. The windows are casement windows with hexagonal panes, framed in cast iron. A large brick stack rises from a weathered ridge-level band, featuring keeled pilasters and an overhanging cap.
