Description

Sundial House is a house built in the late 18th century, with extensions from the early to mid-19th century. It features roughcast brickwork and a hipped Welsh slate roof, supported by four brick chimneys. The building has a rectangular plan and is two stories high with a five-bay front. The left two bays have 12-pane sash windows below and 9-pane sash windows above, both set in plain reveals. The right two bays are similar but have 16-pane sash windows. The central bay includes a projecting open porch supported by chamfered square pillars, topped with a cornice on wooden brackets. Above the porch is a stone sundial that displays the Greg family motto, likely added in the early 20th century. The right end of the house features a two-story curving bow window, while the left end has an added conservatory.
