Description
A group of mid-19th century farm buildings and stables located north-east of Bulkeley Grange. The buildings are constructed of red brick with a slate roof, arranged in a "U" shape. The south-east building has four open arches supported by stone springers. The central building features a wide arched opening also with stone springers, a keystone to the arch, and a gable above. Stables are situated within the south-west building. The corners are defined by stone dressed quoins, and the openings are also stone dressed. The doors are narrow and boarded, and the windows are metal. Square pitch holes are visible at loft level, featuring stone heads and sills. A symmetrical pattern of vent holes runs in a straight line above the first-floor level. Barge boards are present on the gables, and the roofs are steeply pitched with triangular vents.
