Description
Lee Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a red tile roof. The building has two storeys and consists of three bays, including a gable on the east side. This gable is distinguished by a stone plinth, flush stone quoins, multi-glazed casements, planted timbers in the apex, and a bargeboard. The 19th-century wing on the west side includes a boarded door set in a heavy frame and a lean-to porch supported by two turned posts on a low wall. The windows in this wing are flush casements without glazing bars, set under cambered arches, and there is also a small square bay. The gable end has a stack and a bargeboard. Inside, the farmhouse features ovolo moulded and deep bevelled beams, large exposed joists, and wide-boarded doors.
