SD 72 SW YATE AND PICKUP BANK (off) LONG HEY LANE

5/144 Pickup Bank Sunday School - - II

Sunday school, dated over the entrance 1835, adapted as chapel 1860. Sandstone, dressed side wall otherwise rubble, with stone dressings, slate roof with one chimney on the ridge and another at the right gable. Simple rectangular single-storey building with 6 large round-headed windows which have imposts and keystones (all with later glazing; but one window now lacks glazing), and in right return wall a matching doorway with double doors and fanlight: above this is a simple panelled datestone lettered:
