Description

Holy Trinity Church, designed by Sharpe, was built between 1837 and 1849 in the Gothic Revival style. The church features a tall three-stage tower with lancet windows in the lower stages and two twin-light louvred windows at the top stage, along with a plain parapet and pinnacles. The nave has three bays and lean-to aisles, supported by simple buttresses. The transepts and choir each have three very tall grouped windows. Inside, the church has a flat ceiling and slim compound piers.
