Description

Canal House, built around 1820, is a two-storey stone building located at Eanam Wharf. It features three sash windows on each floor and a small square porch with a side entrance framed by Tuscan jambs. The rear facade facing the street has three storeys, with the ground floor consisting of cellars. The middle storey has three sash windows, while the top storey has two sash windows. Canal House, along with the British Waterways Office, Bank Cottage, warehouses, and a capstan, forms a notable group of canal architecture.
