Description

The garden wall, located approximately 10 metres south of Entwistle Hall, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of thin sandstone rubble, laid without mortar, and features a flat coping. The wall is straight, measuring about 25 metres in length and 1.5 metres in height. At the west end, there is a gateway, and along the south side, there are seven rectangular recesses with slabbed sides, which may have been used as bee-boles. This structure is listed for its group value only.
