Description
Bradshaw Brook Viaduct is a railway viaduct that carries the Blackburn, Darwen and Bolton Railway over Bradshaw Brook. It was built between 1847 and 1848, with Terence Flanagan serving as the resident engineer. The structure is made of sandstone and brick and features a slightly curved design, standing 120 feet high. It is supported by stone piers that hold up nine semi-circular arches, each with a span of 50 feet. The arches have red brick soffits and are faced with sandstone.
