Description
The garden wall to the north of the hall is likely from the early 17th century. It is constructed of large sandstone rubble with quoins and has a rendered coping. The wall forms an L-shape along the east side of the garden, which borders a lane leading to the River Wear, and extends along the north side. It stands at approximately 2 metres high. The west range of the wall is too damaged to be of interest.
