5/37 (inset) Walls, piers and gates to west of former school and Church of St.Peter GV II

Walls, piers and gates forming west boundary of former Rectory grounds and of church yard. Mid C19. Wall of coursed rubble with ashlar coping; ashlar piers; wrought iron gates.

Former Rectory entrance has 2 rusticated square piers with pyramidal coping. Round coping on wall attached to right bay of former schoolmaster's house and curved to meet north pier. From south pier, wall with gabled coping extends c.100 metres along boundary of churchyard and is interrupted by spike-headed gates and chamfered piers with pyramidal coping.
