Description

The walls, piers, and gates to the west of the former school and Church of St. Peter date from the mid-19th century and form the western boundary of the former Rectory grounds and the churchyard. The wall is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar coping, complemented by ashlar piers and wrought iron gates.

The entrance to the former Rectory features two rusticated square piers topped with pyramidal coping. A wall with round coping is attached to the right bay of the former schoolmaster's house and curves to meet the north pier. From the south pier, a wall with gabled coping extends approximately 100 meters along the boundary of the churchyard, interrupted by spike-headed gates and chamfered piers, which also have pyramidal coping.
