Description

The arch to the west of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, formerly part of the Rectory Lodges, dates from the late 18th century and around 1950. It is constructed from sandstone blocks and features a pointed arch with a string course at the base of its crenellations. The arch is flanked by stepped crenellated walls that have plinths and shields. It was relocated following the demolition of the lodges associated with the Rectory.
