Description
Number 16 is a house from the mid-18th century, built from coursed squared limestone with a roof made of Welsh slate. The building has two storeys and features three sash windows with projecting sills and flat heads, although the central window is blocked. To the left, there is a round-headed doorway with impost blocks and a raised surround, which contains a boarded door. The central entrance has a four-panelled door beneath an oblong fanlight. The roof is topped with two end brick chimneys. Inside, there are wide two-panelled doors set in architraves, wide-splayed windows with shutters, and a narrow open-well staircase. In front of the house, there are cast iron area railings and a gate, featuring tasselled spear-headed standards with spiral sections on a low wall.
