Description
Heatherlee House and Warden House, now two separate dwellings, date from the mid-18th century. The buildings are constructed of brick with rusticated stone quoins and feature a roof made of Welsh slate. They are two storeys high and have five sash windows with glazing bars set within architraves. The central door is also framed by an architrave and is topped with a pulvinated frieze and cornice. The roof has a low stone-coped gable parapet that rests on curved coped kneelers, and there are two brick chimneys at the ends. The area is enclosed by railings on a dwarf wall; these are made of cast iron, with spear-headed designs and finials on the principal posts.
