WALLSEND ROSEHILL ROAD Accommodation arch east of junction with Martin Road.

GV II Accommodation arch. Probably c.1839 by Green for Newcastle and North Shields Railway Company. Rusticated pecked sandstone and ashlar. Coursed squared sandstone abutments to skew arch with voussoirs; rusticated retaining walls; band at railway bed level beneath flat-coped ashlar parapet.
