Description
Aislaby Grange is a double span house located on Aislaby Road, dating from the early 18th century for the rear span and the mid to late 18th century for the front span. The building is constructed of small hand-made bricks, which are now rendered, and features a pantiled roof with end chimneys. It stands two storeys high and has three windows, with proportions that are slightly irregular. The late 19th century sash windows have gauged brick arches and stone cills. There is a modern glazed door set within a glazed pent porch. Some sash windows with glazing bars have been replaced on the west return, and modern windows are present on the first floor. The facade is cement rendered.
