Description

The Mount is a double span house that dates from the 18th century, with an early to mid-19th century extension to the west that is designed to match the original structure. The building is now roughcast and features a hipped slated roof with end chimneys. It stands two storeys tall and has three windows in total, with the older part also having an attic that includes two gabled dormers. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. The entrance features a six-panel door set within a pilaster-and-entablature surround topped with a flat hood. Inside, the house retains early 19th century woodwork, including doors, window shutters, and fluted arches over the passages, as well as some ornamental plaster cornices.
