Description

The Clock House is an 18th-century house constructed of soft red brick, distinguished by its pantiled roof of a fairly steep pitch and two ridge stacks made of old brick. It features one-storey red brick rear wings with pantiled roofs, dating from varying periods. The main front of the house has two storeys and four windows, with a pentice on the right end. The windows are sash style; Victorian windows are set above, and early 19th-century windows with glazing bars are positioned below. A returned, pedimented gable tops the third bay, within the tympanum of which is a stone-framed clock face. A plain boarded door is set within a later trellis porch.
