Description
Mourie House Cottages, built in 1757 by William Mourie, is a two-storey building made of local pinkish brick featuring stepped eaves courses and English garden wall bond. The roof is primarily pantiled, with some areas renewed in concrete tile, and it has brick copings and kneelers along the edges. The facade includes three windows: two old fixed lights with opening panels and glazing bars, along with three modern small paned lights. To the right, there is a 19th-century extension constructed with similar materials and windows that match the original ones. A modern central glazed porch has been added, and there is one old small paned sash window located behind it.
