Description

The boundary wall and gatepiers located to the south of Number 36 (Sunnyfield House) on Westgate date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of dressed sandstone and feature a stepped design on the west side. The wall is low on the south side, resting on a plinth, and is topped with a geometric-design timber screen. The gatepiers are both rusticated and plain, each topped with a ball finial.
