Description

The 3-arched railway bridge, built around 1860, carries the disused Cleveland Railway over the former Belman Bank tramway in Guisborough. It features three semi-circular skew arches, with the center arch being higher and wider than the others. The bridge is constructed from rockfaced sandstone, with dressed sandstone used for the underside of the arches and above the impost bands. Notable details include vermiculated, rusticated impost bands and voussoirs. The track bed has been converted into a permissive public walkway.
