Description
The Hedley and Robson tombs, located approximately 20 yards southeast of the Church of St. Francis, consist of two table tombs. The tomb of Susan Hedley dates from 1723 and features a top with moulded edges and a scrolled surround for the inscription. It includes symbols of mortality at the west end and symbols of eternity at the east end, supported by six urn balusters. The tomb of Isabel Robson, dating from the mid-18th century, has a plain top also supported by six urn balusters.
