Description
The gateway to High Green, located approximately 60 yards north of Eslington Park, dates from the mid-19th century. It features gatepiers and a gate made of ashlar and wrought iron. The tall piers are rusticated with a cornice and topped with ball finials on elongated cushion bases. The gate itself has three stages: the bottom stage consists of a trellis, the middle stage has a half-rail with square spearhead standards, and the top rail is adorned with round palmette standards.
