Description

This is a column sundial located about 50 yards southeast of Otterburn Tower. It was built in the early 19th century and is made of ashlar stone. The sundial is designed in the shape of fasces, featuring a capital and base that are decorated with an egg and dart motif. The gnomon, which is the part that casts the shadow, is missing. This sundial is included for its group value with the surrounding structures.
