Description

A pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century stands at Bank Foot, Otterburn. They are built of ashlar with a chamfered plinth and have a Welsh slate roof. The cottages are single-storied, with four bays between them, and lower porch bays projecting to each return. The windows are 42-pane sashes in slightly-chamfered surrounds with projecting sills. The porches have boarded doors set in pointed-arched, slightly-chamfered surrounds. The roof is hipped, with eaves overhang, and includes two corniced ridge stacks. The porches have roofs hipped towards their outer sides.
