Description
The entrance screen, garden walls, and gate piers to Hepscott Hall are likely from the early 18th century. They are constructed of squared stone with ashlar dressings, while the internal faces of the side walls are made of brick in an irregular English Garden Wall Bond. The central gateway features rusticated piers with attached jambs, moulded bases, and moulded caps topped with ovoid finials on swept feet. The low walls have a chamfered plinth, central pilasters, and low chamfered coping, connecting to similar outer piers that have pineapple finials. The side walls of the garden, which have low gabled coping, extend to the southern angles of Hepscott Hall.
