Description
The garden and terrace walls to the south of Bothal Mill House date from the early 19th century. The terrace and east walls are made of tooled stone, while the west wall is constructed from squared rubble with cut dressings. The walls feature arched coping on the east side of the upper garden, along the terrace between the gardens, and on both sides of the lower garden, which slopes down to the old mill race. The terrace wall includes a central flight of seven steps. These walls are included for their group value with Mill House.
