NU 22 SW NEWTON-BY-THE-SEA FALLODON

3/176 Attached wall and game larder on north of Fallodon Hall GV II

Wall with attached game larder, pump and trough. Wall probably C18, game larder, pump and trough C19. Wall and game larder rubble except for north end section of squared stone; cut dressings. Larder roof Welsh slate. Pump cast iron with rendered brick trough. Wall runs north for c.45 metres from north-east corner of Hall service wing; half way along is hexagonal game larder attached to west face. Adjacent to south end of wall is pump with acorn finial and swept handle with ball at end. 2-metre high wall with low-pitched coping. Game larder has altered 4-panel door with small vent above, and pyramidal roof; small windows in three other faces.
