Wall With Attached Structures And Gatepiers To South And East Of Stable Yard

The structure consists of a wall with attached buildings and gatepiers located to the south and east of a stable yard, likely dating from the late 18th century, with a late 19th-century game larder. The 18th-century structures are made of squared stone, except for the rubble rear face of the wall, while the larder is built of rubble with tooled-and-margined dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The privy has a roof made of 20th-century metal sheets.

The wall is curving and stands 2.5 metres high, topped with pitched coping. Near the centre, there is a boarded door leading to the privy, with a pent dog-kennel featuring a round arch and a single-slab roof to the left. The gateway has square piers with a plinth and pyramidal caps. The larder is a small square building with a boarded door, flanked by chamfered slits on the west side, a single slit to the south, and twin slits to the east. It has a steep pyramidal roof that supports a slatted cylindrical vent topped with a moulded finial.
