Description

Newton Fell Farmhouse is a house dating from the later 18th century. It is constructed of roughly-squared stone with roughly-shaped quoins and dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with grey brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, with a slightly irregular appearance. A four-panel door, with a two-pane overlight, is positioned centrally, flanked by four-pane sash windows. Above are sixteen-pane sash windows, all set within irregular stone surrounds. The steeply-pitched roof is characterised by stepped-and-banded end stacks. The left return side of the building displays a sixteen-pane Yorkshire sash window and several four-pane sashes.
