Description

The property comprises a farmhouse and attached outbuilding, dating from approximately 1830. The farmhouse is constructed of squared stone, with coursed rubble in the end bays. It features tooled quoins and dressings, and a Welsh slate roof with a brick stack. The main farmhouse section is two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade of 1 plus 3 plus 1 bays. A renewed front door is centrally located, topped with a plain overlight, and is flanked by 16-pane sash windows, each with slightly projecting sills, set within alternating-block surrounds. The gables are coped and have stepped end stacks. The end bays, slightly set back from the main block, also have 16-pane sash windows and coped gables with end stacks; the right-hand stack has been rebuilt. A set-back porch with a boarded door is located to the far left. An attached single-storey outbuilding extends to the far right, featuring four low stable doors at the rear. The outbuilding is included for group value.
